Software Engineering Intern · AI Integration Team & Cortico Web

Production software for clinic communication, appointment booking, and patient workflows.

Built AI phone workflows for booking, patient verification, cancellations, confirmations, and staff transfers using Vapi, Telnyx, OpenAI, and Django.
Developed backend models, APIs, webhook handlers, logging, and fallback logic for reliable multi-clinic calls.
Shipped frontend and backend changes across patient booking and clinic-management workflows.
Added SMS deliverability monitoring, patient data validation, automated tests, and production fixes across Django, PostgreSQL, Riot.js, Next.js, and Docker.

Projects

Clyvero — AI Voice Agent for Clinics

Jan — Apr 2026

Functional end-to-end AI phone prototype with real inbound and outbound calling for medical clinics. It checks live appointment availability, books patients during conversations, runs reminder and recall campaigns, and escalates unresolved or urgent cases to staff.

Built real-time calling through Twilio Media Streams and WebSockets, connecting phone audio to OpenAI Realtime, ElevenLabs voice, and backend tools; also implemented an alternative Vapi calling path.
Connected live scheduling tools to atomic booking, patient records, call outcomes, transcripts, urgent-case flags, and staff callbacks.
Built the Next.js dashboard, Express API, real-time SSE updates, campaign tools, and Electron desktop app.
Piloted Clyvero across 15 eye clinics, saving an estimated 2–3 staff hours per clinic per day.

Lens Ordering System

Dec 2025

Production desktop app for opticians to create, track, and share lens orders across locations.

Built a React and TypeScript desktop app with Tauri, Node.js, Express, and PostgreSQL for five optical locations.
Created role-based access, structured prescription data, status tracking, PDF invoices, and template-safe Excel exports.
Removed manual double entry and saved staff nearly 1 hour per day.
